At the turn
of this 21st century, interest and research in exploring and
communicating with the dead, angels, and other entities, has
exploded into such a proliferation of movements, books, projects,
foundations, workshops, services, and more, that another book
(or several) could be written just to begin to catalog them all.
The following list is not intended as a complete overview of
those working in traditions related to Spiritism and/or Spiritualism,
nor, certainly, of the multitude of individuals working in Mexico,
as well as in various cultures and languages all over the world
as mediums, channelers, healers, Fidencistas, curanderos espíritas,
intuitives, clairvoyants, shamans, psychics, remote viewers,
animal communicators, UFO encounter researchers, and more; rather,
it is a very rough representation of the extremely varied and
mosiac-like milieu in which Ithe American translatorfind
myself in this second decade of the 21th century.
In other words, think of this list as a small slice of a very
rich and complex sociological piethe "pie" being
those
who claim to communicate or have communicated with disembodied
consciousnesses.
Moreover, I selected these websites because they lend themselves
to further exploration by English-language readers.
Once again, it is not my intention to convince anyone of the
validity or invalidity of Spiritism, or of any other belief system,
but to simply provide an English translation and context for
a work I believe is fundamental for understanding Francisco I.
Madero and, therefore, the Mexican Revolution of 1910, and Madero's
Presidency. This list, as the other lists and information on
this website, is intended only to enrich the reader's understanding
of this work's context.
