Podcast Buttons For my podcasting for
writers workshop participants, and anyone else interested in
podcasting who surfs their way onto this page, welcome!Scroll on down to view the collection of free podcast buttons. (Where did they come from? Why, I made them, and lickety-split, using Keynote and a "screenshot.") How to get them from this page to your page? On a PC, just right click on the button you want and then save it to your own computer. On a Mac, just select it and drag it to your desktop. When you update your blog or website, paste in the URL (the address to the link) to your podcast on your hosting service (e.g., podomatic.com, podbean.com, vimeo.com. etc.).  For example,
let's say I want this button (pictured left) to link to my podcast
of a talk I gave for San Miguel PEN / Sol Literary Magazine about
my translation of Francisco I. Madero's secret book of 1911,
the URL provided by podomatic.com being:http://cmmayo.podomatic.com/entry/2012-03-02T09_29_56-08_00 I
used my webpage program to link that jpeg (the image of the green
button) to that URL, so now when you click on the button (pictured
right), voila, you go right to that page to listen now. |
